    I kind of think this thread is degrading and mean, are people just looking for an ego boost??? We shouldn't rate one another on looks, there is so much more to a person and everyone is beautiful and unique.

    Now that I went natural with my hair color. Started turning white at 18, colored my hair for many years. Had to start coloring every two weeks and enough is enough.

    @BabyGreen 7- Love your long hair but if you really want to go short just do it. I thought about it for a long time before I cut mine. Finally I got tired of thinking about it and just did it.

    I cut my hair shoulder length and hated it. My long hair is sadly my security blanket. My hair and my eyes is the only thing that I actually have some confidence in. Wish I could just do it. Short hair looks great on you!!!!

    Thanks.I was the same way (even though my hair never really made it past shoulder length.) I understand how you feel about your long hair being a security blanket. But your hair is beautiful how it is anyways.
