this has been on my mind for a while now... i have 2 tattoos, 1 on my lower back, 1 on my lower belly, and with my weight gain they have stretched in a way...
i'm just wondering for people with tattoos who have lost weight... how did the tats look AFTER you lost the weight?

Bump.
I've been wondering this myself.0 -
I have a star on each hip bone. After losing 50 pounds the only difference is they are higher on my stomach0

bump would really like to know this. i have a large chest tattoo and i want to start on my sleeves.. but ive been holding back due to being scared of what they might look like after??? i haven't finished my chest tattoo because of the same reason.. so it's looking blank and boring at the moment really.0

I have one on my abdomen near my right hip that I got when I was 21, after two children. Since then, I have gone through two more pregnancies and gained and lost weight. Nothing ever really happened to my tattoo at all!0

I have 4...One on each ankles, one on my left foot and one on my lower back..My tats look better now than they did when I was 79lbs heavier..You can see them all really clear verses barely seeing them cause of my fat...I plan to get a lot more but I kno everyone is different..0

I have tattoos from about my bra line down to just above my butt, I've gained & lost weight a couple times & it's never made a difference in them at all, but they also aren't in an area that stretches out much either. Planned it that way, lol.0

I have always been careful to chose areas that won't effect weight loss/gain because of that fear. I do want to get a side tat once I'm all thinned up cause this girl ain't turning back0

I havent seen any difference in my tattoos.. but i do plan to get a new one once i reach my goal.0

I've got several tattoos, but they are all located at spots not really affected by weight--my feet, my ankles, my wrists, and my upper back, beneath my neck. I will say it seems like my wrist tattoos have gotten, well, nicer? A little bigger? I have noticeably lost weight in my forearms and wrists, but my tattoos still look fabulous.
I'm very hopeful to get one on my arm this winter; I've wanted sleeves, but I have pretty nasty batwings dangling down, so I might just get something on the tops of my arms/shoulders.0 -
I have a back piece going from my neck to my bum, having lost nearly 100lbs it looks pretty much the same, except bigger in comparison with the rest of me. No stretching or sagging on it that I can tell. Pretty chuffed if I'm honest.0

I've got one in my calf that I likely should've angled better one of the edges is in a muscle ridge (is there a name for that?) when I flex but otherwise nothing untoward. I'm holding off on a side piece till after loss for a better canvas.0
