I really needed this right now because I've felt really down since quitting smoking and not being able to control my hunger. I have been slacking with exercise, but I decided to strap on my HRM to check my heart rate for improvement since I quit smoking almost 3 weeks ago. I wasn't expecting much, but my high heart rate concerns me. When I'd first put it on my heart rate would average around 110. Tonight it was 84! I sat down to see how low I could get it; three weeks ago I would struggle to see below 80. Tonight I was at around 65! I'm relieved to know smoking was probably making my heart rate so high and I don't need to worry that I'm abnormal.
