Last week I decided to get up early all week and do big workout then also did hour at lunch time and somedays half an hour on passive trainer too burning around 600-1,000 cals for a solid week. I had read that womens metabolism is naturally higher the week before their period so I thought if I pushed myself to exercise loads everyday the week before I would burn loads and lose another 3-4 lbs extra on top of the water that came off this week.

I got the cramps but my period didn't actually start, today the water was dropped.. I'm back to 147lbs so I don't think they will come now as water dropping is usually the end of them, and after all that exercise last week I haven't dropped any extra?

I was doing 1-2 hours form 5-7am, an hour around lunch time and half hour on passive trainer pedals some days and on those days burning nearly 1,000 extra, some I did shorter morning session and only did hour alter or bike but still burned over 600 so why didn't the extra weight come off after water was dropped? ... does it need longer to happen? .. or have I confused body and that's why period never actually started? .. it was fine last month but I didn't exercise like a woman possessed the week before!

Theories? ... I don't want to make same mistake next month.

you may have lost fat and gained muscle. If you did measurements check those. You also may have been exercising too much? I'm not an expert so i dont really know if that would matter. I hope i kinda helped?

That's a thought!.. I'll get the body fat scales out and see if my lean muscle mass has gone up anymore! My tummy and waist is still same measurements they're the only ones I take as all my weight is around my middle and just wanted to lose my tummy and shrink my waist a bit!
