Who knew that I would love to exercise?

Two years ago I peaked at about 275#. Ouch! It still hurts to write. I dropped a few pounds but was stuck in the 250's. Then, in June, 2011, out with friends I found myself dancing shirtless in a bar. The pictures spoke to me like a punch in the face. The next day I started a program of daily exercise and calorie counting. I had been using another site to track progress, but have recently made the switch to MFP. Now I run an average of 20 mi/week (working hard to improve my mileage) and I do regular weight training. I've had my friends next door and my partner for inspiration and support.
As of now I'm down 40+ pounds and am looking to run off some more blubber while I add muscle mass doing P90X. I want muscles. Mid-life crisis? Maybe. But... I'm going to get buff by 50. Then I'm going back to dance at the bar. Shirtless. Cameras welcome.

Nice post! Keep up the good work.
I need to keep motivated also - hopefully this site will make me do that - only 10 - 15 lbs for my ideal weight - then muscle bulk time.0
