Hi all,
I am 38 married, full-time working mom of 2 beautiful children.
I have always been a "chunky" girl but I loved my curves but that was at 150. Over the last 10 years I have packed on 100 lbs and now at my highest. I have lost 70lbs on a low carb diet but gained it all back. I know I am an emotional eater and I love carbs so this time I just want a plan that is real. Something I can stick with for the rest of my life.
I also need alot of motivation and hoping MFP will help me. I would love to connect with MFP pals for support on this journey.

  • Hi,

I'm a mother of 1 so I understand what you are talking about. I would like to be your buddy. I need to be encouraged just like you. Without support I lose my focus and forget.

Just think of all the things you can do with your children as the weight falls off and you get stronger!

    HI there,
I just added you :) I know what you mean, so many things stop me right now because of my weight either because of limitations but a lot of it comes from my own self esteem stopping me from doing some things with them. Like swimming which is something I love but can't bring myself to put on a bathing suit.
I would love the support as I really do need it as for some reason I am always self sabotaging myself.
