With yesterday being the last day for Exercise TV (at least here in South Florida), I was happy to awake this morning and see a whole new slew of Fitness Workouts! So glad I can continue losing weight at home and for free :)

Where did you find them? I have Time Warner, and according to the TW On Demand website, exercisetv was supposed to be there through the end of this month but it was gone without warning this morning.

I have Comcast. On the Exercise TV website it said some cities would lose them before 12/31. The Fitness Workouts were exactly where Exercise TV was.
  • I also have Comcast and was frustrated to see that they cancelled "without notice" Exercise TV. I workout Mon-Fri with Comcast and was very worried. I noticed a new program called "Fitness Workouts" was added and decided to give them a try but am highly dissapointed in the new options they have to offer. It seems like there is only a hand full of people who instruct the workouts so there is very little variety. Everyone has their own way of teaching and no one seems to be on my level like Billy Blanks Jr, Leslie Sansone, Chris Freytag and Jennifer Galardi were. This new workout company seems cheap. I understand that "Exercise TV" no longer exists but at least do a little research on what was popular and most viewed before replacing it with something totally different, throwing people off track. The workout programs were the main reason I even got Comcast so I called them to let them know that I would probably cancel my subscription with them because I was not going to pay for something that was'nt working for me. Most of all I miss the Walking workouts which I used to warm up with before starting the more vigorous workouts. the Rep told me I was not the first to already complain about this issue and to go to Comcast.com to write my complaint. I did what he said and I hope that my concerns along with the other unhappy customers will make a difference very soon. If you want to let them know how you feel go to Comcast.com then on the lower right hand side there is a feedback option "no need to sign in". Don't know what I'm going to do but this has definitely thrown a wrench in my daily schedule. Wish I could just go for a quick walk/run outside but don't want to bring my infant out in the cold. =(

Ah, Comcast. Maybe TWC will find a replacement. Discovery Health has programming but it's only between 6-7 am, and I work out earlier than that. TWC briefly had a limited ExTV selection last night (now listed under Lifestyle, but when you select it, it still takes you back to sports) but it was gone again this morning. Good thing I have ChaLean Extreme en route!
