Hello!
I know you're supposed to take in protein after a work out, but sometimes I do weights in the morning & cardio after work. I know for sure I need the protein after weight training, but should I do if after cardio on those days when I'm doing both? Don't want to over do it!

thank you!

Customize your macros so protein is 20-30% of total calories and you'll be fine. If you're lifting heavy weights 3 times per week, set it to 30%. If you're lifting light weights it's cardio, not strength training and you can set it to 20-25%. Every meal or snack should include some protein.

Go to My Home>>Goals>>Change Goals>>Custom. Save your changes.

So, you consider weights cardio if you're not lifting very heavy weights? interesting! Though heavy to me may not be heavy to many people

ok so, if I am doing weights 2 times a week, but it's considered cardio, how should I mark it in my work outs? I do the 30 minute circuit training at my gym sometimes. So, when I do that I put it as "Curves 30 minute Circuit" (though I don't go to curves. Can't imagine that & planet fitness would be that different). So, maybe just as that every time?

Because when I do weights - not in circuit training- it'll mainly be machines. Do the ones that focus on whatever muscle group i'm working that day.

I wondered why "strength training" was less calories than circuit training.

    Thoughts?
