Walking in the cold

I get post nasal drip which causes my throat to become dry for a few days every so often in winter. Needless to say, one of my main sources of exercise is walking outside twice a day and that's proven difficult to do with this dry weather and my dry throat. I usually wear a jacket when I walk, but my face is exposed to the dry air so it makes my throat feel worse.
Does anyone have any solutions to how I can comfortably walk in the cold weather?

Have you tried wrapping anything around your face to keep it warm?0

Take water with you? I know have a sip time to time helps me when I am run/walking in the cold air.0

Take a look a the half-face ski masks. They make some neoprene ones that work pretty well.0

I don't have the dry throat problem but my chin get so cold, I can hardly talk until my face thaws. I'm sure a scarf would do the trick and would be easy to take off and put back on if you get overheated. If you want fancy gear, I've seen snowboarders wear those half face masks that seem to work prety well.0

Nope, Rarely walk in cold weather unless I have too. Too windy and dry where I live to make it enjoyable. Treadmill is my winter friend. I don't Ride my MC below 50 degrees unless I have to either. Don't need to impress anyone with my toughness. LOL0

Wear a parka that has a funnel hood - the funnel shelters your face from a cold. Also, try putting on some heavy moisturizer before you go out.0

When I run or walk outside during the winter months, I find that covering my nose and mouth with a scarf that allows me to still breath but helps reduce how much cold air I inhale helps me tremendously. I even do it in the cooler months also.0
