Some well meaning colleague just tagged me in some fat photos on Facebook. I have dropped at least 3 dress sizes since the fat pics were taken. I now have to either ask her to remove the tags (unless I can do it myself - my knowledge of how Facebook works is poor) or get someone to take non-fat pics of me, load them, and tag me. Unimpressed :(

you can untag them... under the picture should be a button that says "report picture/remove tag" and if you click that, after a couple screens you can select "remove tag"... it's more complicated than it used to be!

Just a question. Why is it bad that you were tagged? Because they are unflattering? Try looking at them as a reminder of where you were, and never want to be again.

Nope, issue is that the only pics of me on Facebook are fat ones. Mainly my problem as I have never liked having my photo taken. I preferred the old days when someone took a picture and it ended up in their photo album not plastered online. I am showing my age.

You can ask them to remove them too. If you don't want your pictures posted on the internet, you can ask to have them taken down. If they won't, just report them to FB. I usually just untag myself. There's a lot of fat pictures of me on there and I've lost so much weight you can't even tell it was me anymore, so I guess I don't really care that they're there unless I'm tagged in them.

Nobody likes seeing awful pictures of themselves. I was a totally different person then, and would much rather have pictures of the new and improved me floating around online.
