Help!!! I can't seem to stay under my sodium goals each day. Also I keep reading that if you are under calories and not loosing to check your sodium intake. I know I sometimes eat too many processed foods (ugh) and that is probably a huge part of my problem. But other than cutting back of ore packaged foods does anyone have any tips or advice?

  • If you work out and sweat I wouldn't worry about it, as the sodium is depleted through it. Just drink a lot of water. The suggestions on myfitnesspal is of someone that doesn't do anything but the ordinary every day things. If you dont, just drink alot of water to help deplete it.

Unless you have high blood pressure, or are diabetic or have some other medical condition that requires you to moderate sodium carefully, you really don't need to stress about it that much. It's just not that big of a deal. I mean... don't go hog-wild and eat a salt lick, but going over by a little isn't going to kill you.
