how much sodium is too much?

i'm making a soup since i have some lamb shanks is the freezer
that i need to use, after calculating all of the ingredients, the sodium
level would be 604.8mg is that alot, the whole pot would be around
6 servings it may be more i wont know until i actually make the dish
so i just estimated, the cals were great 237 per serving. so what do
you guys think?

  • i think that should be ok, you can change your settings so you can view how much sodium is appropriate for you :flowerforyou:

    Soup in general has a lot of sodium. :ohwell: It is a high amount if that is for one serving, but if you watch the rest of the day and keep the sodium down, you should be ok. I have HBP so I try to keep a close eye on my sodium. Also, sodium can help to retain water, so I try to be really careful.
