New Years Resolution

So how many people had a 2011 New Years Resolution to lose some weight? It took me until September to really get started and until December to meet my goal. I'm so thankful that I found MFP this year.

I'm glad that "Lose Weight" will finally not have to be a 2012 New Years Resolution for me.

I'm not looking forward to how busy my gym will be for January and February...

I am happy with my weight now but my goals for 2012 are in my mind and I can't wait to do them!
    1. Tough Mudder
    2. Run a half marathon with a better time than last time

Mine was the same last year as it was every year before for the past 10 years:
    1) lose weight
    2) quit smoking

Well, guess what........ Lose weight didnt mean 4 lbs. which is about what I have lost this year. I havent totally crapped out, but I am not doing SOMETHING right. I am on day 4 with no cigarettes though. I have been working on that all year too...... i will get stressed about not losing weight, and will go right back to them.

You know what my resolution for next year is?
    You guessed it!

    1) lose weight - 50 lbs...... not 4
    2) stay quit smoking
  • For the majority, new year's resolutions are only made to be broken. There is no time like the present.
