What in the world should I eat? I wanna eat everything I see! LOL I earned an extra 600+ cals today from exercise, so I have about 700+ left, but is it rEEally ok to eat that much at NIGHT just before bedtime?!!!

What would you do/eat?

Eating late at night by itself will not hinder your weight loss. It will only hinder it if you eat your allotted calories during the daytime, THEN eat MORE late at night. So often late night eating is blamed for weight gain, when it's purely the calorie surplus that caused the weight gain.

I eat around 8-900 calories within the last 2-3 hours before i go to bed, but i log them, account for them, and eat less during the day to allow me to have those i want, when i want, and still keep my calorie deficit.

That's AWESOME to hear! hehe I guess it's just been drilled into my head for so many years not to eat after certain times that the thought of doing so makes me feel guilty. lol

Haha yep, if you look at my diary, I eat about 1000 calories in dinner and evening snacks alone. That's the way I like it! :D

I rarely eat dinner before 8:30pm. In fact, I'm eating dinner right now.

I keep it light - a fruit smoothie, veggie salad or fiber bar. Always with a glass of vino!
  • I don't sleep well if I eat heavy late. I try to be done eating by 8 pm. I just got back from the gym and needed something so it was almond milk and 2 scopes of vega chocolate. A cup of tea then off to bed.

Funny, i sleep much better on a full stomach!

Either way, that is personal preference. As long as you keep the calorie deficit for the day, when you eat is irrelevant from a weight loss perspective.
