question: how do you know what food burn calories?

http://www.essortment.com/speed-up-metabolism-27255.html
"You can also speed your metabolism by choosing foods that have few calories yet burn many calories just in the process of metabolizing them. Celery, Potatoes and Cabbage are good examples. The right ingredients in a soup would also make a great example."

Why don't you just workout and eat a healthy diet?

There are no "negative calorie" foods. There are no foods that will "burn fat" if you eat them.

  • Tomatoes = your body burns more calories digesting tomatoes than there are in the tomatoes. http://lifehacker.com/331319/fifteen-foods-that-burn-more-calories-than-they-contain

But since digestion is covered in your normal daily activity, it really doesn't matter if a food takes a few more calories to digest than it actually provides. Most of the so called "negative calorie" foods are full of water and don't provide much in the way of nutrition. Plus, the amount of calories they burn is negligible. So this whole idea is just silly.

dude it takes energy to digest any food. but that's factored into your basal metabolic rate, so you don't get extra allowance for certain foods. All the calories count.

Negative calorie foods DO NOT EXIST. Period.

Seriously, kid. Take the advice given to you in previous threads. Talk to a doctor, try doing this the healthy way.

There is no way that potatoes are a negative calorie food. Stop looking for quick fixes and just stick to the plan that the site gives you. Eat less, move more, it's very simple.

i'm just posting stuff i read on the internet and asking if it is true or not. i won't do this because i only know a few foods that suppose to be able to burn more calories and i hate the most of the given foods.

the only negative calorie food is peanut butter. You should eat nothing but peanut butter & you will definitely lose weight. Don't put it on celery because it isn't as good a negative calorie food.

If you read it on the internet and it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

That's called malnutrition, and it is not a good thing. Bro, just follow the calorie guidelines on the site - it can be a slow process, but it works.
