Hello

Need some opinons, has anyone ever felt like this before?

Ok so I have been going at it quite hard for 7 weeks now and im losing on average 1kg / 2.2 pounds a week, in total 5.7kg. I always push myself harder than mr average, but today I had to walk out the gym half way through my workout, I felt so weak! my eyesight was blurry and I felt a bit sick, What could that be all about?? am I suffering from burnout? am I not eating enough? or could it be something else? I dont know whether to try take a day or two off now from exercise. I feel drained. Anybody else felt a bit like this?

In my opinion of course, the following are likely causes:

CNS fatigue. Deloading is your friend. One week per 8-12 weeks is a good standard for deloads and you can read about them here:

    Incoming illness.
Low carb can cause energy/fatigue in some people.
Too large of a calorie deficit.

and to elaborate on the dietary stuff above, even moderate deficits should be met with refeeds or at least maintenance days periodically. If you're not doing this you should consider it.

Not sure what your stats are but you're losing at a pretty fast pace and I would suspect that you need to take a few days at maintenance.

I wouldn't rule out any of the above and I'm sure there's other things that play a role like sleep, etc but I think the above are the first that come to my mind.

Great bit of advice, read the artical on de-load, I am going to just do cardio for a few days I think, its been nearly 8weeks heavy lifting (3x full body workouts a week) so by having a de-load as you suggested will pay dividends! also sent you a PM.

Good advice so far. I would also add that if your eyesight was blury and you felt sick then you were probably low on something. For example, low blood sugar, volume depleted, low salt, etc. can cause such symptoms. Did you work out really hard after not eating any carbs recently? Did you drink enough water? Are you trying to eat low salt?

Well, im trying to reduce my carb intake, but this shouldnt effect me this way so soon, I think it could be my body saying give me a rest, or I need to up my calories, as for a bloke my size, and how much activity level is at the moment, I think I should be eating abit more, I just want max results asap.
