Is anyone else on a low potassium diet? I am having problems finding the potassium content of a lot of foods, especially prepared foods such as Smart Ones frozen dinners. I tried emailing the company but they don't respond to me.

I'm just curious. Why are you on a low potassium diet if you don't mind my asking? I thought potassium was very good for you.

That's interesting because it seems that's opposite of what it should be. I hope everything turns out all right for you. Good luck to you and to paulrobillard. :flowerforyou:

lol yes I need lots of sodium. I loose more sodium in my urine and sweat then most people and it throws me off balance so lowering potassium and increasing sodium helps. Its very counter to what we see all the time but it it happens.

Thanks so much for wishing me luck:flowerforyou: I'm doing much better and have lots of energy I just have to moniter my bloodwork to keep it balanced ..since my body doesn't seem to want to do it for me lol.

I dont know of the OP issues only mine. I wish then them the best too.
  • Hi. I don't mind you asking at all but suldrun got it exactly right. It is due to kidney problems, at least partially caused by medication for high blood pressure, which I am hoping to be able to reduce by losing weight.
