I hit my 60 day mark today!! Yay!!
I joined MFP on October 16th, when I finally hit the point where I just knew this was it. If I didn't start right then and there it would never happen, after years of going up and down with WW and calorie counting and still being at my highest non-pregnancy weight ever. I don't know what it is about MFP, but it stuck right away. I'm down about 14lbs in 8 weeks, exercising 4-5 days a week. (I lost 8lbs between June and August on WW, but then quit and just maintained until joining MFP). I just added strength training twice a week (30DS level 1 for now), and I do 45 mins on either the treadmill or bike 2-3 days a week. I'm learning that I actually feel better when I eat better (imagine that, right?), and that the quick rush I used to get from eating sugary stuff doesn't compare to the way I feel when I keep junk to a minimum for days at a time.
I think this might actually work!! It's a bit scary, but very exciting. I am actually starting to crave exercise, and when I go to the cabinet for a snack I'm now more likely to grab something like yogurt or veggies over something like crackers or toast. I'm getting better about seeing those green numbers at the end of the day.
Thank you to all my very supportive MFP friends. I know this is just the beginning, but I've never felt this strong before. I really think this time will be the time I'm able to really get there.

Yay!!!! I just hit the 75 days logged mark. I joined Sept. 1st and I've lost 31 lbs since then. I've been overweight my whole life, and morbidly obese the last 6-7 years. This is the only thing I've found that works for me. Keep up the good work!!0
