All my jeans were starting to get pretty baggy so I finally decided to buy a new pair. The last time I bought jeans, about a year ago, I had to buy a size 46 and they were snug. Wow, was I surprised when I bought new jeans last night. I was able to wear a size 42 and they fit loosely. I'm so proud of myself, and I'm not done yet. My goal is to get back to a size 36.

It certainly can be done.
I went from a tight 42 - loose 44 down to my now, just right 34's
My mind still has not grasped this thin concept though, when I pull them out of the closet in the morning they look like they are never gonna fit LOL0 -
