So, I had lunch after my workout....and by 3, I feel like I need to eat again and I always have a snack, but today I was needing something more. I know protein bars are meant to be a meal replacement, but can I have it for an afternoon snack and still have a great dinner? It seems to help hold me over until dinner time. I just don't want to eat that many calories for a snack and it not be a good choice!! It will be within my calories so I am not worried about that.....I just want to learn how to fuel my body a little better!!
Any advice??
Thanks!!!

He pretty much said it all.
Protein and Fiber will last you longer than simple carbs.
Also, a lot of those protein bars are heavy on the sugar/carbs.0
