    I am so glad someone asked this since I am doing the Warrior Dash in April and was wondering about the shoes also.

    whatever you run in, just make sure they're not nice, new & pretty, b/c they will get destroyed!! donated my pair last year!! good luck, it's a great run :smile:

    I'm doing the Maryland Warrior Dash in May and the Ontario one in July!! I was thinking I'd wear OLD running shoes, and now that I've seen all the posts on here, I'll be tying them as tight as I can!!

    Wear old throw away shoes!!
    Or atleast something that you wont care if it gets discolored or ruined. Like someone else said, tie them extra tight so they dont fill with water/mud.
