Can you broil cube steak

Just wondering if you can broil cube steak. If not I will have to change my dinner to salmon cakes and do cube steak in the crock tomorrow.

    I would think you could broil about anything. Whether or not its edible, is another question.

  • yes, it would be similar to broiling hamburgers (burger king style)... it should turn out great just be sure to watch them and possibly flip them a few minutes before they are done.. good luck!

    You don't want to cook cube steak very long, much like flank or any other type of tougher cut.

    Yes, but first marinate it in Budweiser (blech, but good for this), oregano and garlic. Best Carne Asada ever.

    It was yummy. I just used a little bit of Worcestershire sauce.

    You can put tomato sauce on them and bake, but don't cook them long or they will be tough.

    yes... but you'll need a good set of teeth! Cubed beef is usually one of the tougher cuts and needs long slow cooking.:smile:
