There are very few people in your life who you can genuinely trust. Keep your loved ones close, your mind sharp, and don't let your guard down.
Pretty much this. I also learned, lamentably late in life, that there is no God waiting to swoop in and bail humanity as a whole or individually out of the mess we're all in (or, for you New Age types, aliens, humans from the future, or magic unicorns).0 -

Divorce sucks! It can throw you into a deep depression and make you want to distance yourself from your closest friends. Don't let it win... Don't let it get the best of you... It physically hurts and is overwhelming, but you need to push through it... It gets better over time... Keep your friends close, don't push them away they are your best support.0

When I was a boy whenever I did something thoughtless and irresponsible my Father would say
"Grow up stupid"
So I took him at his word and did so0 -
