One of my favorite breakfasts!

1 Arnold multi-grain sandwich thin (toast)
1/4 cup liquid egg white (spray a bowl with pam, and pour egg white in, cover with plastic wrap and microwave 1 minute or until cooked)
2 tbsp 2% sharp cheddar cheese (I sometimes nuke for 30 seconds more to melt the cheese)
(I put a little cholula hot sauce on it too! LOL!)

1 cup sliced strawberries.

This breakfast is 223 calories, 4 g fat, 8 g fiber and 15 g protein.

    Tam,
what are the sandwich thins? Bread or pitas? Never heard of them, where do you buy them and how many calories to make a sandwich?

    Thanks!

Hey! They are in the bread aisle where the other Arnold products are sold and are a round "sandwich roll" type of thing. Already split in two. I love them. They toast well and make a good sandwich and are 100 cals and 1 g of fat and 5 g of fiber.

I will sometimes toast half and put a little brummel and brown spread on and some fruit preserves and have that with a cup of tea in the afternoon or something. They are very versatile!

I guess the problem is that we don't have Arnold's products around here, at least I've never heard of them, but I'll check next time I go shopping. I'm always looking for a different carb, I got these pitas at WM made by Joseph's they are very thin and open so wide you can put an entire salad in one side and your protein in the other, now I can't find them!! :grumble: :grumble:

    Ohhh, that's a shame! I didn't realize Arnold's weren't everywhere.

I love Joseph's pita! They are delicious. I love the Joseph's roasted red pepper hummus on it.

Hmm, maybe check another grocery store?

Those Joseph's Flax and Oatbran pitas are my favorite! They only sell them at Super Wal*mart by the deli here!

I've seen those sandwich thins. I also like the Thomas's Light Multi grain English muffins- 100cals and 8g fiber!
