Weigh in question?!

I was on a topic the other day and everybody was discussing how often they weigh in. Most people agreed once a week. I put on there that I was weighing everyday and averaging at the end. I have only been doing this program here though for 4 days. So far my weight is just been going down just a little each day. I was wonding if anybody puts their's in everyday, I know some people think weighing everyday is unhealthy but I have been doing that for a while and I am used to it. I am thinking about entering it in here everyday and see if I can see any connection with a time that it goes up (because I am sure it will a little sometimes) - for instance if it does it a day I don't work out or a day I go over on my calories or something. Just a little test I am thinking about trying, I am curious if anybody else has ever tried it? Thanks!

i weigh myself everyday but i only enter in on sundays. this way i see a bigger weight loss once a week but weighing my self daily, making sure the scale doesnt go up, keeps me on track. i weigh myself every morning before i get in the shower, before i eat any thing. hope this helps.

I weigh and enter it everyday. I don't really have a reason..it just works for me.

I do the same thing- I got into the habit of weighing myself everyday before I get into the shower in the morning, before eating anything. It works well for me, like others said it keeps me on track thinking I have to weigh in every morning rather than once a week. As long as you weigh yourself the same time everyday- like first thing in the morning it's accurate, because your weight does fluctuate throughout the day. Sometimes it is a little much though- I have been losing about 1/2 lb a day and this morning I weighed myself and I was the same- I at first got a little frustrated then I had to remind myself it's only a day- no big deal :)

It's all about what works for you. Weighing in everyday and averaging is probably more accurate than once a week.

I just have "issues" with the scale. Once a day turns into five times a day, guilt ensues, etc.

Also, I cannot recommend taking your measurements enough! I've had periods of one-two months where the scale barely moves at all. (I'm in one right now) But, I'm still getting smaller. ESSENTIAL if you're doing weight training.

I weigh myself at least once a day I was having lbs creep up on me and then I'd step on the scale and freak. This way if I see it going up I can keep it in check. I am not worried if I see it go up a few lbs, it does day to day. I log in my progress on my lowest weight that I see at least 3 days in a row. Then I try to beat that. Its like my own little game. I know it sounds obsessive but it is the first time I have actually been making efforts to eat healthy and seeing the results week after week. So it helps me
