So before Thanksgiving my sister ws given a small frozen turkey. We still have it in the freezer and plan on cooking it this weekend on Saturday. We don't really want to do it "Thanksgiving Style" so are looking for any good ideas. Anyone have any good recipes they want to share for a whole turkey (it's small like a large chicken size)?

Check out skinnytaste.com lots of great ideas there for left over turkey. You will have to cook it thanksgiving style first. Try something you never did before like a drunkin turkey, stick it in a cooking bag and pour in a beer, season it with something different like adobo, change it up from what you'd normally do.

Alton Brown's turkey brine is absolutely amazing. If you start it this afternoon or evening, your turkey will be ready to roast tomorrow. I never thought I liked turkey until I started using this recipe.
