Is it time to tone up??

Is it time for me to focus more on lifting? I am 5'4 and 144 I still really want to get down to 130 but some one ask me why do want to lose more weight just focus on toning up instead I enjoy cardio but I was thinking maybe they are right I do want to have 6 pack one day what do you guys think??

    Toning will definitely change the shape of ur body. U'd be surprised at how different u will look with a more tight and toned body. I would suggest working on toning and see if u like the change in ur shape. If after that u decide that u still want to lose more weight go for it.

    I agree that toning will give you some great results.

    when you tone you will also loose the weight you didn't want. you look great too :)

    So how is it going for you? I am working at toning up too -- I was taking more fun classes like Step and Boxfit but now I am started (almost reluctantly) to do more weight lift classes and even looking at books to help tighten and tone my body. I think lifting is so BORING but I have heard that even to do 15 minutes or so before or after a class can make a big difference.
