The "Weigh In"

I weigh myself once a week on Friday mornings.

Is it normal around I start thinking about the friday weigh in and become more obsessed with it, as the week goes on. Although this seems like a good motivational tool, at the same time if the scale does show a weight loss, I would be super discouraged, that I crushed the gym all week like an animal and ate like a rabbit.
