Today, my food diary is allowing me 40 less than I have had since I started, which isn't such a big deal, I am just wondering why it changed. I just weighed-in today and only lost a total of 6 pounds so far, so I didn't think that would have changed anything. It was originally at 1350 and now it is 1310. I weigh 233.6 pounds, I'm 5'6", and it is set to losing 2 pounds per week. Is this because I lost weight or is it some other reason? I am just confused. Does anyone know why, or have any guesses?

Thanks for help ahead of time!

Your body needs less fuel to move around less weight.

Yes, but does 6 pounds make that big of a difference?

yes, it will continue to readjust all along the way as you shrink. Your exercise burns also go down, because it takes less energy to move around the smaller you.

    Congratulations on the progress!

I am wondering if there are ranges for calories..ie 150 -165 is a range that gets x number of calories...and with your 6 pound loss you dropped into another range....
