...it's hard to say because apparently I've started my cycle today. A week early and totally unexpected. I think. Lost 0.2 pounds - about a fifth of a pound, which is okay, but it's just kinda weird.

Been exercising loads - did take one day off last week and probably will again this week - trying to be nice to my bod.

Stayed to my points and added one or two a day, seeing a dramatic drop at the start of the week and a gain towards the end (which likely has to do with the cycle starting).

But I've had few or no symptoms of PMS - and I usually get it BAD before my period. No pain, no soreness, no crabbiness, no tears. Can't tell if the tummy hurt because I've been doing abs (so it hurts all the time anyway, LOL!).

Very strange. Will see how things are at the weigh-in next week, which will be at a different time, anyway, due to my having to do morning tutoring at school.

Ideas welcomed, of course...

I might be wrong- but I've always heard that during your cycle women tend to *gain* 3 lbs of fluid (retaining water and all that)......so- I'm not sure if your loss would actually be more than that and the rest is just bloating?
    Not sure...

I'm pretty sure the real loss is more. What was really weird was the lack of a sign that I was even expecting it. I was looking toward this coming week being the difficult one.

I did have a bit of splurge Thursday, but not so bad that I was so far over my WW points that it was unrecoverable. I think I only was over by about 8 points (into the "discretionary 35" that they give).

I'm hoping it's a positive result of keeping reasonably strictly to the diet.

Granted, yesterday and today were a total loss, but I'm not stressing out about it. I need the break, I think, and didn't eat loads of junk. Just ate well over my points for the days. *sigh*

That's great about your PMS symptoms. I find when I am working out, my symptoms are greatly reduced! ahhhhhhhh......Perhaps that's what's happening with you, too? Don't worry about the weight. You'll drop like four pounds next week.
  • Me too- working out and eating well completely change my pre-menstrual symptoms for the better.
And I agree you'll probably have a nice loss next week!
