Just got bitten in between my toes by what I assume was an ant. My toes were THROBBING now it's pretty much the whole foot and I can barely walk on it. Any ideas as to what it is or what I can do to relieve the pain? :(

Take some Benadryl and put it in some cool water. If the swelling doesn't go down, call the doc.

What's Benadryl? Is that like a paracetamol?

Keep an eye on it, it may have been a spider and some of them can cause some pretty knarly and scary bites. If it was an ant and it's that bad, is it possible you're allergic? But the severity of your pain kind of makes me think 'spider'..... Hope you feel better soon.

find the ant...look at it closely...is it foaming at the mouth? it might be ant rabies....go to the doctor and take the ant with you

    good luck

    It is an anti-histamine.

Benadryl is the brand name for Diphenhydramine

Hydrocortizone cream applied topically should help with itching, too.

maybe the doc can give you an ant-ibiotic or an ant-ihistimine. Probably no way to put a b-ant-aid on it.

Or it could be a fire ant. Their bites hurt pretty bad, but if your allergic, you'll get a lot of swelling. Go to the doctor as soon as you can.

If you didn't see it, very possible it was a spider. I would get checked quick.
