Hi everyone! I'm wondering if any of you can help me with my current issue. I enjoy sleep...immensely!!! Unfortunately, I've suffered from lack of sleep one too many times. Since I've started this lifestyle change, I'm working out, which definitely helps put me to sleep. I've also increased my intake of water, which is sending me to the bathroom frequently. This wouldn't be a problem if it didn't occur at night while i'm in a deep slumber. Last night alone,i woke up about 4x(imagine my annoyance). I've been drinking more water for weeks now, so I don't understand why this is still occurring. Does anyone else have this issue?

Do you drink water, before you go to bed?

How long have you been at it? Your body is adjusting to the increased water volume, give it a couple of days, you should be fine.
  • Thanks for the suggestions!! I'll definitely limit the amount I drink in the evenings. @ Goose28in, I increased my intake about
4 weeks ago. I know this is supposed to happen in the beginning,i just assumed it would cease after a while.

Ah, I have a similar problem. I have a very small bladder and therefore if I find myself drinking a bottle of water even past 8 I'll be up a few times during the night. Luckily I'm one of the heaviest sleepers alive so it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah I would just say try not to drink much water past 7PM (but make sure you don't cut your total water intake as a result)
