Didn't scroll to the end to see if anyone else posted this but here is the blueberry version. OMG I can't wait to make these. I love warm sweet breakfast. I could eat this for supper too. Yummy! Can't wait. Thanks for posting.

No problem, glad you found the other recipe as well! I'll be posting a recipe called "Pina Colada Breakfast" using cream of wheat in the near future. Be sure to check back on www.CookingWithJax.com for the recipe, it sounds like it might be another post you will enjoy :)

Hey! I already posted on another thread you had with this recipe. It's so good that I wanted to make sure I posted in this thread too! Everyone should try it - so nice to wake up to a warm delicious LOW CAL breakfast!! Thanks!

    Thank you so much! :)

I was really surprised to see the other thread active! It was the first time I came up with the recipe, just over a year ago! Someone must have been searching for it and re-posted, that is so awesome! :)

  • Could you do this with rolled outs instead of steel cut?

The rolled oats would get pretty dang smucky in the crock pot, I would expect.

Yep, they totally do! I tried it once and ended up with a disgusting, mushy burned mess. You could certainly try the stovetop method (posted right below the slow cooker method) with rolled oats, just reduce the cooking time, and likely the liquid as well.

You certainly can! The stovetop method is posted directly below the slow cooker method! :)
