What is your favorite protein shake or powder? What brands have low calories and high protein?

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard.
$45 on www.vitaminshoppe.com
Best prices BTW.0 -
I'm very picky about taste and texture. Unfortunately, I find a lot of the cheaper brands end up gritty. Who wants to think they're drinking a flavored sand shake? *gag* Not me! Lol.
I prefer:
Muscle Milk, Dynamtize (sp?), and Gaspari. Those 3 brands taste good AND they dissolve well in milk OR water.0 -
Market Pantry Chocolate Whey
$16 for 2 pounds.
140 calories and 25g protein per scoop.0 -
I like Apex Fit Supreme .0

Any whey isolate will fit the bill. Flavor, price, and mixability are about the only things that come into play when choosing one brand over another.
Optimum Nutrition is a good choice.0 -
Nectar Sweets Chocolate Truffle -- i mix it with skim milk and water, and I've found it to be quite tasty. I've also mixed half a scoop in with a cup of nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt... yummy and packed full of TONS of protein!0

Definitely Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey is the best. I recently bought another brand from Walmart because I wanted to save a few pennies. Yuck, you could taste the sweetener and even if you blended it to death it was still really gritty.0

I buy the NNW brand. It is like 106 Cal. and only 1 gram of sugar. something like 21 grams of protien. But I think that I will be switching it, do to I don't go much to the store that sells it. I'm shopping around. I had stomach bypass and can't have much sugar. I have to have an high proien powder or shake. Another one I like you get at sam's club or Costco is Premuire. I'm not sure how to spell it, because its been awhile. Not a member anymore with them.0

I get the Optimum Nutrition from Vitamin Shoppe as well. A month supply costs about 25 bucks and the chocolate is delicious!0

I like Isopure zero carb in chocolate and vanilla. It has around 200 calories, 1 gram of fat, and 50 grams of protein. I get it from GNC. It's not gritty and it mixes well with water or milk.0
