Just bought a hrm and have a stupid question

Ok so I just bought a HRM the other day and used it for the first time today. The stupid question is whether kcals are the same as calories or if I have to convert them. Thanks in advance for any help :drinker:

    Not a stupid question! The answer is they are the SAME :)

    they're the same! KJ are the big ones, and Kcal are the actual calories we count. If you look on a food wrapper they normally give you both, but read the Kcal- a much nicer number!
