lower back pain

I am getting ready to start JM extreme shed & shred... The only issue I have really is the lower right side of my back.. It doesnt seem strong enough to hold some of the moves... Does anyone know if this is related to week stomach muscles? or is it actually my lower back? I have had this issue for many years and never did anything for it...
anyone else have this issue?
more importantly does anyone know some workouts that can improve this without hurting myself?
