ok heres the deal i hit my goal weight and decided to lose a few more lbs on top of it all......due to socialising and xmas coming up this week has been a bit mad! we've been out a few times and i've had a few take aways 3 of the days ive logged all my cals with healthy food and today i ate bad food but within my calorie limit mfp gives me? how much damage have i done i don't want to get on the scales as i know most will be sodium! my goal was to be size 10 uk and now i am trousers still fit the same! can u see the difference in someone losing or gaining 2-3lbs? maybe its just me? answers would be appreciated

    I think patterns of water retention can vary from person to person. I had two xmas parties last weekend and yes I was up 3 lbs for most some of last week.. it was mostly in my abdomen though.. I don't think 2-3 lbs is that noticable. ps you'll only gain actual body mass if you go over your maintenance.. 1 lb of fat = 3500 cals over.

    Odds are it's just water retention. I had food the other day that must've had a lot of sodium, because I was up 2 lb yesterday from the day before, so I've been chugging water to hopefully get it off before weigh in tomorrow. I was scared to step on the scale this morning, so I didn't with this morning.
