Soo if one pound = 3500 calories and you divide that by 7 for days of the week thats 500 so if I burn an extra 500 cals a day does that amount to 1 pound lost per week... like even if I just do like short workouts like for example this fitness game on my wii if I burn lets say 125 each workout do that 4 times a day 7 days a week and cut calories does that mean ill lose an extra pound that I wouldnt have if I didnt workout??

The short answer is yes... that's correct... but remember this is 3500 burnt... dispite what people say, they're not eaten back...
I try to hit 1500 losses a week.. and ive been losing 1 pound a week... so if you actually hit 3500 burnt you'll see the difference for sure. Even it's its 10 small workouts of 350 each... it doesnt matter.0 -
thank you this makes me feel good li for days I cant make it to the gym in time I now have like a mini workout at home and if i just do it through out the day the calories do add up to what i can burn off in the gym and these activties feel more like fun but they do get me sweating even came with a heart rate monitor which is cool to see how hard im working makes me pushh harder ha and boxing is on there I kinda am in love with it.0

these are all estimates as far as how much you burn daily, and how much you burn exercising. Now there are a butt load of other factors as well... like hormones, genetics, metabolism, diabetes and other health issues that can impact the numbers. Not to mention that 90% of people who are counting calories, underestimate the calories they are taking in, in addition, the over estimate the calories they are burning.
given all that all things were optimal .. yes you would lose approx 1 additional lb a week compared to not working out.0
