I am interested in getting a heart rate monitor to more accurately track my calories burned while exercising. Can anyone give me their thoughts on which ones they prefer and the actual benefits of wearing one?
What should I be looking for?
Thanks in advance for the input.

My wife likes her Polar FT40

Many existing threads on this topic. My opinion...Polar FT60. Will evaluate your fitness, count your calories, plan a workout for you, provide feedback on your performance, tell you when to lighten up, sync with your computer and the polar training website, and tell time...the list goes on.0

Hi
A lot of people will tell you to get the Polar FT4
Not sure of your location but I am in the UK and I have a cheap £20 Karrimor one, from Sports Direct. Seems to work just fine for the basics!0
