I see different bottle types for protein drinks you can make and take with you, but i was wondering if one was better than the other to mix while you are out and about or at work The spoon/fork method isn't working so well with me, still clumpy at the bottom at times and it makes me cringe. I see that some come with a netted type ball, others have metal type beads. Do either of these work very well? I know a lot of people recommend a bullet but its not very practical since i have two jobs I feel weird enough carrying around a tube of protein powered in my car as it is. Thank you for any advice.

I have this type of shaker

Just a cheapo one. I think the guy at the supplement store gave it to me free. I find it works just fine. And the protein I have right now doesn't mix well at all with just stirring or shaking in a regular container.

I bought the premier protein chocolate (pre-made) drink from costco. I think it was 18 for $24. Each drink has 30 grams of protein and 160 calories. I am surprised how much I actually enjoy the drink - tastes very similar to chocolate milk. I only drink them after circuit training or lifting exercises.

I have had the shaker with the (not very fine) grate at the top, and I haven't really liked it, it still doesnt get the lumps out of my protein shake. I'm going to but a blender bottle soon (unless one turns up in my Christmas stocking before then :P). A guy at work uses one and says it works really well too.

+1 on the ready-to-drink Premier Protein from Costco. It's my go-to protein drink and no mixing or clean-up required.

Yup, my vote goes to the blender bottles with the little wire ball inside. Simple but effective. Easy to clean. I have one at home, one at the office and one in my car!
