What are your ideas to get through Christmas without undoing everything you've done up till now?

I lost and have kept off 60+ pounds for five years. That being said, Christmas is one day in the year.....OK, count in Thanksgiving, Easter, and New Year's too.

If I can't "splurge" and enjoy myself a few times a year without worrying that I'm going to gain back the weight I lost, then this hasn't been a lifestyle change. That being said, I'm about 7 pounds heavier than I really want to be -- and 17 pounds heavier than I was at my lowest weight in 2007. That was probably an unrealistic low weight for me, and several of my co-workers have told my they think I was too skinny at that time.

As far as I am concerned, if we can't enjoy holidays, then our new "LIFEstyle" isn't doable.....it's a DIEt. I want a LIFEstyle, not a DIEt.
