I'm BACK!!!!!!! :drinker:

Life is better now. I'm down to one class that is really easy. My house is clean and my husband actually realizes I need help cleaning it (well that I just can't keep up with the daily damage he does  )

I've also come to the conclusion that I can't count on my "friends" as much as I thought. At lot of plans went south last weekend and plans that would made for two weeks out keep changing too. I've decided I'm no longer "planning" anything or inviting people over (lately it's only been my plans that get shot).

I also made a workout plan so I can focus on bike riding (for my miles, running, and strenght training!) It's a lot of gym time but I finally have that time so I'm going to use it! I also need to focus on water and counting calories....we're not even going to talk about what I've eaten/drank for the last week!!!

Well, hope all of you are doing well!

Well the day got off to a rocky start, so I hope the rest of it goes better. I backed my bus up too sharp and a snowbank snagged me for about 10 minutes so my route was late, and then one of my students was sick on the bus right after that so then I had to swamp the bus out and it is just toooooo cold out for that stuff right now. But I managed a healthy breakfast and an apple for snack time. I was supposed to take my kitty in for bloodwork for his thyroid, to check his levels only to find out not only did I dose him before I went to work, hubby dosed him thinking he needed them before the visit. So I called the vet to see if he would be ok and they said yes but just don't give him any tonight . So bloodwork will have to weight till friday.

Last night my daughter came over with her dog and we went snowshoeing by flashlight for about 30 minutes. It was really windy and raw out. I think I would rather do it during the daylight. But at least I got the exercise in. So between the shoveling and the snowshoeing I did both upper and lower body. Tonight we are going to do a cardio workout inside. It probably sounds corny but we are going to do Richard Simmons Dance your Pants off. Tomorrow we are planning on Pilates. Well she is, I'm just going to do what I can.

Todays goals, 1 hour cardio, all my waters, stay within my calories, and get some house work done. It's manageable. Hubby is going to help with the house work too when he comes home. I feel like a clothes bomb went off in my house lately.

I'm trying to get the picture from Acroyoga up. It might take a bit. I'm too lazy to learn how to do it inside the thread. I also have one of my husband and myself over at a friends house, but it looks a little weird, so I'm not going to leave it up for very long (you'll have to go to my profile to see it). My yoga teacher was very interested in it.

Yesterday: yoga x2, cybex, walk - around 900 calories - but the yoga was rather easy, so I'm not sure if I should count it in my weekly total or not - thoughts? It was probably around 450-500 without the yoga.

Today - gym. I was going to go to a yoga class across town, but I'm too busy this week. The class is taught by someone that is giving a workshop in May, so I wanted to find out what she was like before signing up. She teaches a regular Hatha then an advanced Hatha - not sure which one to take.

    Happy workouts!

Got the picture up. That's me on the bottom

Howdy! I'm glad everyone is back! We missed you! It's been kind of lonely!
Mary, that looks painful. It looks interesting though. I'd be dying in any of those positions right now!

Not much is going on today. I have been feeling really tired again. Maybe because I don't have any goals right now. We're also having second thoughts about the adoption, so it's been a bit tiresome and stressful around here.
I took Alex to tumbling class this morning. I need to clean up the messes we've made so far. I'm not sure what I am going to do for a work out. It's warm today but really windy. I don't like wind. My lower back has an off and on cramp in it so I will have to see what I want to do today. I should do something. I don't know why I am so tired. I'm sleeping good. I'm just dragging.
It's almost spring! I saw a spider in the house last night, a huge water roach this morning, and one of those oversized mosquito looking bugs in the car. I don't like bugs at all. I used to play with roly polies and baby crickets when I was little. Now everything creeps me out.
I have to tell you all a funny story. I don't think I told you all this when it happened. I put a couple of dishes in the kitchen, and I turned around to talk to Alex who followed me. When I turned around, I see this black thing running towards me! My first thought is a mouse or a really big roach. I screamed and jumped out of the way. Then I realized it was one of those small bouncy balls that Alex had rolled on the floor. Alex then said, "Do it again! Do it again!" It was hilarious. Maybe it's one of those "had to be there" moments. Anyway, I'm going now. I need to straighten up the house and figure out what kind of work out I am doing today.

    Hi everybody!

Mary, the acro-yoga looks a combination of scary and fun.

Today, I have a voice student who comes at 4-ish. . .(when I scheduled her, I said "just come after school as soon as you can get here") so the plan depends on her. If she's on time, I'm going to Bikram (crashed yesterday and decided on a day off. . .my legs got really sore as the day progressed). If she's not on time, I'm going to the gym for a cardio/weights session. Then, whatever of those I don't do today, I'll do tomorrow. I'm trying to work on being more flexible with my plans. This is hard for me.

Thursday I'm leaving for a road trip/academic conference. My goal is to get my workouts in on the road, and mind the food. Every hotel I'm staying at has a workable gym. (One of the hotels is on the campus at Notre Dame, and I get to use the campus gym, which I'm sure is good.)

I had a 1700 calorie dinner last night. This is bad. Yikes. The worst part is, it didn't feel like I was over-eating at the time. I can put away some food, I tell ya. I think nerves for the conference presentation were involved, as was red wine and ice cream. Whoops. I almost didn't log it, then I did. I'm on a "being honest with myself" kick.

    Take care.:flowerforyou:
