I found a thing on Pinterest that I think will really help keep me on track! It said that every time you complete a workout, put a dollar in a jar. When you reach your goal weight, use that money to go buy something you REALLY want!

When I reach my goal, I'm going to go bonkers on buying shorts and tank tops! Those may not be a big deal to some people, but I am PUMPED at the thought of having arms and legs that I can show off! (c: Right now, I'm one of those women who's so self-conscious about arm flab and fat legs that I wear jeans and sleeves that go at least to my elbow ALL the time, even when it's 100 degrees outside! :blushing:

So here we go, time to hop on the treadmill and earn myself another dollar!

I feel your pain, I have shorts and cute rompers in my closet but I refuse to wear them because I am self conscious of my legs (I buy them telling myself screw what everyone else thinks, but never have the courage to wear them out). I love the jar idea!! and I think I'll try it, good luck on your weight loss journey.
  • Thank you! I do the same thing -- I still have this adorable tank top in my closet (light pink with this lime green and white polka dot bow on the strap -- so cute!) that I've had for several years that still has the price tag on it, but I just can't bear to get rid of it! SOMEDAY, HOPEFULLY SOON, I'LL BE BUSTING THAT THING OUT WITH CONFIDENCE!!!

 Glad to know I am not the only one! (The tank sounds super cute by the way!)
  • This is a good idea. I was thinking about planning a trip with my girlfriends to celebrate when I get to my goal weight.
