Jump Start??

Hi All,
I need to lose about 45lbs, and I know the experts say "slow and steady wins the race" but I would kinda like to be more of a rabbit than a turtle so to speak, at least out of the gate...I think it would help my willpower immensely if I could just lose a decent chunk fast. Does anyone have any ideas to drop some pounds quickly? I know I have to make changes and lose some of the weight slowly, but it would be nice to get rid of some of this fat noowwwwww. Thanks!

I completely understand the JUMP out of the gate... I have always felt that if I could see the scale moving right away it would help me stay motivated. I was able to drop 12 pounds the first month by drinking LOTS of water and cutting out the sweets and fast food. This month however I am barely losing and I started counting calories AND exercising. Depressing sometimes but just stick with it... we'll get there.0
