LoL it's highly possible you're full of extra fluid. Have you been drinking plenty? If I have a cold I sit home and eat sometimes and of course that could cause weight gain. But as a general rule I try not to weigh when I'm sick because I'll "falsely' lose 5 lbs or gain it. It's easier just not to worry about it.

I have a bad cold right now too and have for the past few days. It's definitely affected my ability to get out of bed in the morning to exercise. It's also making me really want to eat and just comfort myself. I have to really watch myself and force myself to continue with the exercise and stay within my calories while still giving my body what it needs to recover. I haven't gained any weight from it but I could see how it would be easy to do so. Feel better!
  • Thanks both - not what you want the week before Christmas Lol. Will stop worrying (and weighing) and just keep being sensible.

I think I've got at least a pound of snot in each nostril. Trying to figure out if I can do a really light workout today without completely negating the rest and 14+ hours of sleep I got yesterday.
