I have never really had any New Years Resolutions and I was thinking this year I might try one or a few. Anybody have any interesting or good new years resolutions to try. Here are some I was thinking of...

1. Go out at least 2 nights a week (since I am single now)
2. Read to learn instead of reading for pleasure
3. Learn another language
4. Throw out old wardrobe and start dressing with more style (doesn't have to be expensive though)
5. Join activity groups

You guys got anything good?

This year I want to try and enjoy life a bit more and let go of some of the things that keep me from seeing more of the beauty in front of me

    - Go out of my way for others less fortunate - I live in the inner city and all the time I am asked for $$ and I get angry 95% of the time about this so I am thinking caring lunch sacks full of basic essentials and foods to hand them vs $

    - Stop pre-judging everyone I don't know and expecting the worse - bad habit I picked up from a new friend

    - Stop being so darned angry in the car

    - Remember that I can slow down and relax - the world won't end

I'm not really one for resolutions either, but 2011 has turned out to be a bit of a rubbish year for me so I'm going to make some changes for 2012:

    1. I have a website on which I sell vintage clothes - I started the year doing loads of work and promotion on that, but in the last 6 months it has fallen by the wayside. It's my ultimate goal to give up work and do that full time. So I'm going to devote at least 3 hours a week to that.

    2. Get serious about weight training and toning. I know how important it is for health and fitness yet I don't do it anywhere near enough.

    3. Stretch/yoga everyday.

    4. Make one new recipe every week. I have zillions of recipe books and ideas in my head. I need to keep on trying new things.

    5. Don't loose touch with old friends. They are SO important.

    6. Make lots of 'us' time for me and my boyfriend. It's easy to constantly go out in big groups, but quality time is so important.

That's it! Hope everyone has a great new year :) x
