Does anyone know what the difference is between "cals" and "fat cals". I've been wondering that ever since I bought my ruddy treadmill. It gives me 95.3 fat cals and 305 cals burned??? Anyone on what the difference really is between the two?? Thanks.

That's 305 calories total that you've burn, 95.3 of which are from body fat. We have different energy pathways for different types of exercise. Low-intensity exercise burns more body fat, while high-intensity exercise burns more blood sugar. However, low-intensity also burns fewer calories in general, so even though the % of body fat burnt might be higher, the calories burnt are low. It's good to mix up your type of cardio to take advantage of both.
That is a REALLY basic way of saying things so if it was confusing I can try to explain it better, but I hope that helps.0 -
