Too much Tuna

Hey,
Quick question. One of my favorite foods out there is canned tuna fish...I eat it just about every day for lunch. My question is, is that a bad idea? I've read some articles about eating too much tuna is bad because of mercury but I didn't find anything definitive out there. I asked my doctor once and he said that unless you eat a bunch, every day for a long period time it isn't a problem and that the health benefits of eating tuna far outweighs the risk. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Robin

I don't have an answer, but I do rotate my protein sources just in case. Lean chicken, ground beef rinsed and drained, and of course tuna.

you would need to eat a ton in order for it to be a problem.

I was JUST coming here to post the exact same thing! My new favorite lunch is 3oz tuna mixed with 2 wedges of lite laughing cow cheese on wheat bread. It is so yummy but I was getting worried that I might be eating too much.
