I have substituted this recipe with healthier choices (bread, meat, etc)0 -
A dozen eggs
Cream cheese
Cheddar cheese shredded
2 containers pillsbury crescent rolls
Meat....bacon/sausage/ham...whatever your preference I use bacon and sausage
Cook meat...chop into small pieces
Scramble eggs like you normally do except add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar and 2 tablespoons cream cheese (microwaved for about 1 minute). Make sure eggs are cooked thoroughly, on the dry side.
Open one package crescent rolls. Don't break apart, roll out lightly to make one piece. Mix meat in with scrambled eggs. Place in the middle of rolled out crescent rolls. Open 2nd container of rolls, don't break apart, roll out slightly to make it once piece. Place on top of eggs. Pinch together along all sides. Cut slits in top. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.0
