Exercise with possibly fractured ankle?

I've possibly fractured my ankle (from running) which I'm extremely annoyed about. I've been to see the doctor, and had an X-ray, which I'm just waiting on the results of (I'll get them in about 10 days).
Anyway, I've been told to try to keep off my ankle, but I don't want to stop exercising (I feel crummy when I don't exercise).
Obviously I can do upper body weights, but does anyone have any other suggestions? Especially for cardio type things?
Thanks in advance!

Cardio will be tough on one leg. You can still do leg work though, such as laying on your back and doing leg lifts, scissor kicks, etc. to keep your muscles in shape.0
